Be The Master Of Your Online Destiny

This online business thing isn’t all fun and games. I was reading a few threads in the internet marketing threads the other day, and what I came across completely baffled me.

This guy was complaining about how he bought Mr. X's course, and he was really bummed because he was really counting on this guy to help him make money online.

Now, this wasn’t what baffled me. I was expecting to read how the course left out the key ingredient to making money, how the guru lied, or how the course didn’t deliver what it advertised.

Nope!!

He was disappointed because he thought this course was going to make him rich.

When people started to question him how much of the method he implemented he replied with.

Nothing

Let me get this right.

The guy did nothing, but yet he expected to be making the money the guy selling the course advertised.

This still wasn’t what floored me.

When people started asking why he’s accusing the developer of the program being a fraud, and he hadn’t even tried the method to know if it works, he got mad.

His response is people just didn’t understand.

Now we know the real problem

Let me explain a few things to you.

You’re the only person who can take charge of your future. No guru, mentor, or leader can make you successful. They can give you the tools, the information they used to succeed, and they can even be your coach and stand in your corner, but if you don’t get off your ass and take charge nothing will happen.

You can buy all the courses, coaching, and informational products you can get your hands on, but it will always come down to you applying what you learn to become successful.

Let me tell you something about information products and coaching.

They All Are A Waste Of Money

Unless you’re willing to take the information you read and apply the knowledge. You can’t go around claiming things don’t work if you don’t test them out for yourself.

It’s funny, I was once one of these people. I once bought a course for $397 that I told my father was a piece of crap, and the guy was ripping people off.

I didn’t even go through the whole course.

A year later I decided to go through the whole course with an open mind. I put what I learned into action and what do you know, I actually made money.

Most of the courses you buy are nothing revolutionary. Most of the old marketing methods still work from 5 years ago. Of course, you will always have new methods come along, but there still are old methods that work like a champ.

Don’t read something and think it’s a scam just because you read it before. There’s a reason guru’s create courses with the title“$12,000 with this new method no one is using”

They know newbies will fall for it, funny thing is it’s usually an old method reproduced to look like some new magic method no one knows of.

There Are Good Products And Bad Products

With anything, you will always come across crappy products, but a lot of the information being created will work for you if you actually apply it.

The key to this equation is ACTION!!!

Throw in a little Motivation

A little Perseverance

And Determination to stick with it until you make the method work.

You ready for the secret?

You’re the Guru. There is no guru other than yourself.

Once you realize that you actually have to apply the information you’re reading you will start getting somewhere.

The Make Money Online niche can be full of scam artists, but not everyone is trying to steal your hard-earned money. Some people point their fingers and call people scammer’s, and they aren’t really scammer’s. The problem is they just didn’t want to do the work it takes to make it work.

It much easier to point the finger at someone else when we don’t want to accept responsibility.

Take Responsibility For Yourself

When I started taking responsibility for myself everything started changing.

This wasn’t just in Internet marketing, but also with getting in good shape. I wanted to gain muscle, get a six-pack, and be healthy. After a couple of months, I was a little disappointed I wasn’t in better shape.

Well, if I would have ate better, and hit the gym every day I would have been in better shape.

Same with Internet marketing. Once I started building websites, building backlinks so they would rank, creating products, and driving traffic to my site things started working out.

No one can make you money except YOU.

Do Yourself A Favor

If you’re one of these people who buy every shiny new object and course that comes out, STOP!!!!

Go back to the previous products you bought and pick one method and start doing it. Don’t go on to anything new until you master it, and make money from the method.

You will never get anywhere if you jump around from method to method. Once you decide in your mind that you will make something work and don’t let yourself get sidetracked because something else looks interesting you will start making money.

This applies to everything. Pick one method, one traffic source, and work the hell out of that method. Make that method your (well you know what I mean). : )

So stop reading and get out there and take some action. If you devote yourself to what you’re doing and do something every day that moves you closer to your goal before you know it you will get there.

Sorry for the rant, but I just needed to get this off my chest ; )
